Breathing Meditation for Relaxation and Self-Realisation Meditation classes are an excellent way for beginners to learn how to develop, or for the more experienced to maintain, their meditative practice. Regular meditation has been shown to produce improved concentration and memory, reductions in stress and related anxiety; reduced reliance on other coping strategies which may become problems such as alcohol, shopping, gambling, high risk sports and activities etc. Added to this are the health benefits of improved sleeping, reduced blood pressure and improved immune system performance. I approach these classes in a secular way which is accessible to all. Those who wish to can incorporate their religious practices and beliefs into their meditation.
