Self-Hypnosis

Self-hypnosis is probably the best self-help tool that no one told you about. Also known as auto-hypnosis, it is a tool by which patients may induce for themselves a state of hypnosis as would be produced by the hypnotherapist in the consulting room.

Regular practice of self-hypnosis will help to reduce the general level of anxiety and promote calmness and well-being.

I teach self-hypnosis to all patients* as part of their therapy. It can be used to reinforce the therapy and promotes the patients independence and maturity. Additionally, patients can be taught how to bring about a relaxed state in a few seconds through anchoring techniques.
